Members Helping Members (MHM) is a need-based emergency fund program funded by member dues and donations. The program is intended to provide temporary financial assistance (not exceeding $250 in the preceding 12 months) to dues-paying members who are experiencing financial hardships. Any funds received through the application should be considered a grant, and recipients are not expected to repay the funds.
Applications are reviewed by the MHM Committee, a committee comprised of FCE Executive Council leaders. Personal applicant information is kept confidential and shared only with the MHM Committee. Anonymized applicant information may be shared with the FCE Executive Council.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be a dues-paying member
- Provide documentation of a specific financial need
- Not have received MHM funds over $250 in the preceding 12 months
