COLLECTIVE BARGAINING
Our union provides collective bargaining power to classified employees, allowing us to negotiate better wages, benefits, working conditions, and job security. Without a union, classified employees would have very little leverage when discussing these issues with management. As part of a union, however, you are part of a larger body with significantly more influence.
REPRESENTATION AND ADVOCACY
Our union offers representation to employees in situations like disputes with management or disciplinary proceedings. We help ensure fair treatment and can provide legal representation if necessary. Our union also advocates for better workplace policies and practices, taking into account the views and interests of classified employees.
JOB SECURITY & BETTER CONDITIONS
Our union works to secure better job protections for classified employees, making it difficult for management to terminate workers without just cause. In addition, we strive for safer and healthier working conditions for classified employees, ensuring that management adheres to regulations and standards.
